Acer Windows 7 Theme is dedicated to the Taiwan based multinational information technology and electronics corporation Acer which is one of the leading manufacturers of computers and related products. Their products include laptop and desktop PCs, netbooks, tablet computers, personal digital assistants, servers, storage devices, displays, smartphones and peripherals. Acer are known worldwide for their well designed and affordable range of laptops and netbooks. Acer’s subsidiary brands include eMachines, Gateway, Packard Bell and E-TEN and their overseas units include Acer America Corporation, Acer Computer Australia and Acer India (Pvt) Limited. In the early 2000s Acer implemented a new business model, shifting from a manufacturer to a designer, marketer and distributor of products, while performing production processes via contract manufacturers. In addition to its core business Acer also owns the largest franchised computer retail chain in Taipei, Taiwan. Acer recommends Windows 7 and they are the only computer manufacturer besides Samsung to support Google Chromebook. Many of their low cost computers also come pre-installed with Linux versions including Linpus Linux. This Winows 7 Theme is our second theme dedicated to a computer manufacturer and is created on the request of jeetu at the HP Windows 7 Theme release post. This theme contains 10 Acer backgrounds and all of them are of 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution like the rest of our Windows 7 Themes. Hope you like this theme too.
